Faros Beach is a small, friendly complex where year-round residents and visiting guests live side by side. What keeps it special is simple: people who look out for one another and care for the place we share.
This page is a warm hello — a few shared courtesies, and how to reach the neighbours who help look after it all.

Living well together
Less a rulebook than the small courtesies that keep our corner of Cyprus calm, friendly and welcoming for everyone.
Faros Beach is home to year-round neighbours and visiting guests alike. A little consideration keeps it relaxed for everyone — small gatherings are lovely; loud parties aren’t a fit here.
Sound travels easily between apartments and across the courtyard, so easy does it in the evening, at night and in the early morning.
The gardens, paths and pool are shared by all — enjoy them, leave them as lovely as you found them, and please keep out of the planted beds.
Bag rubbish securely and use the communal bins beside each gated entrance and exit; recycling is welcome. Please keep the lids closed and don’t leave anything beside the bins.
Use your apartment’s allocated space and keep entrances and access routes clear. The marked drop-off area is for loading and unloading only — please don’t park there. Further public and guest parking is available close to the Kefalos Beach Village entrance.
Please smoke outdoors only, away from open windows, and dispose of ends safely.
The shared pool
There is no lifeguard on duty — swimming is at your own risk. Please take care, especially with little ones.
Just outside the door
Golden sand and clear, calm water just below the complex — lovely for a morning swim before the day warms up.
The white lighthouse that gives Faros Beach its name, out on the headland above the archaeological park.
Ancient tombs carved into the rock from the 4th century BC — part of the Paphos UNESCO World Heritage site.
A car-free seafront route for walking, running and cycling, stretching from Geroskipou Beach past the harbour, castle, archaeological park and lighthouse up to Kissonerga — passing right by Faros Beach. Outdoor gym stations, native coastal planting and open sea views line the way; sunset is its best hour.
Shops, supermarket, cafés and a cinema under one air-conditioned roof on Tombs of the Kings Avenue.
The Tombs of the Kings strip — a long run of tavernas, restaurants, cafés and bars along the avenue, from lazy breakfasts to relaxed late evenings, with plenty of choice for every taste.
The medieval fort guarding the harbour mouth, reached along the waterfront — its square hosts open-air events on summer evenings.
The historic upper town on the hill — winding streets, the covered market, shaded squares and stunning views back down over the coast.
The famous Blue Flag bay of soft golden sand, a short drive or single bus ride up the coast. Gently shelving water that suits children, sunbeds and parasols, seasonal lifeguards, water sports, showers and changing facilities, with cafés and shops on the strip just behind the beach.
The Tombs of the Kings bus station, moments from the complex — easy access to frequent, inexpensive buses along the coast, to the harbour and into town, no car needed.
Paphos International is refreshingly close — an easy drive on fast roads, so arrivals and departures stay relaxed. Plenty of car-hire pick-up points sit close to Faros Beach.
